A Behavioral Health Professional of Shine Above will work 1:1 with a child with an intellectual disability, ranging in age from 0-21, in the home and in the community providing extra support on identified goals and objectives, as well as providing intervention and de-escalating services.
They will follow a detailed treatment plan with goals specific to each child's needs, focus on behavioral management, increasing skill development and physical development skills, and help to increase a child's independence while working on daily living skills.
